One of the best fast food places in the St Paul skyway. We got the gyro salad and 2 gyro's. Great quality meat, good portion and the fries we excellent. Super clean restaurant.

Granted, I need to be hungrier and return. The reviews and photos for the gyros deserve consideration (and *I* deserve yummy lunch!)
I ordered a HUGE Greek salad that was loaded with toppings. The toasted pita was a really nice surprise and I darn-near ate it in the Skyway before I got back to my desk! The staff is friendly and very patient (first-time menu reader here). The salad was fresh, the dressing was very well-seasoned and I'll be back! -

Pros: Really like the gyro meat and hummus. Stays open later in the afternoon than other restaurants in the St Paul skyway. Clean and spacious space to eat-in.
Cons: Falafel is disappointing and I did give it more than one chance -- it's a weird shape and is dark and dry. Seems on the more expensive side for Greek fast food... -

I was excited to learn that a Greek restaurant was returning to the skyway. When I think of mediterranean food, I think light, filling, healthy, fresh, and flavorful. I finally found a good day to wander over during my boyfriend's lunch break...
I ordered a falafel wrap, which is vegetarian. I'm not certain, but it may actually have been vegan, as well. The wrap is dressed with a tahini dressing (versus a traditional tzatziki sauce) and I couldn't taste any dairy whatsoever. The wrap was a bit messy, but it was tasty. I would've preferred some more vegetables (more tomato, cucumber, etc), especially considering it's listed under their vegetarian menu. The falafel were done reasonably well. They weren't super dense, so I'm not sure how much fava bean is used in their mixture.
My boyfriend ordered a lamb/beef gyro rice bowl which he seemed to greatly enjoy. He's never tasted a grain of rice that he didn't like, so this menu item was almost tailor made for him.
Greek Kitchen considers themselves "modern," and I think what they mean by that is the actual concept of putting greek food in a bowl. It's almost like a deconstructed experience. I see that they're getting at; serving food in a rice bowl or wrap is an easy, quick, and consistent way to deal with skyway lunch rush customers. I, however, would've like to have seen platters available with items such as stuffed grape leaves, baba ganouj, hummus, salad, etc. The menu is just a little too pared down for me! -

Count me as a fan of Greek Kitchen after just one chicken gyro bowl!
Though I was a little wary of the $10 price tag (most main items on the menu), the heaping rice bowl made for a stout lunch and a good sample of Greek flavor. You can choose between salad or rice, but the gyro bowl came with hummus, tahini sauce, red cabbage, cucumber, tomato, and pita. It was a good mix and quite tasty. I recommend adding their spicy garlic sauce and a dash of special seasoning to any dish for extra Greekiness. Yum.
I'll be back to try their platters and salads soon. A really great space to snag a Mediterranean bite!
